House to Home: Hey Behbeh

Hey Behbeh ;) *wink wink*

You know you wanna come roll around on this nice, lush grass with me.

Well, it has been almost a month since our grass was installed and I finally swallowed that big lump in my throat and let the dogs take their first steps on it, all the while repeating "PLEASEDON'TPEE PLEASEDON'T PEE PLEEEEEEASEDON'T PEE!!"

Apparently my chanting worked.  The girls went straight to the spot I have been taking them to relieve themselves, did their business, then promptly took a serious interest in the grass Mom has kept off limits for so long.  They weren't even sure they were allowed to step on it, lol.  Once I assured them it was ok, they were more than happy to sniff and roll and do all the things dogs do (besides pee!). 

We're not out of the woods yet so to speak.  I will still have to supervise them for another couple weeks any time they're off leash back there, but today was such a relief.  I was absolutely SURE it was going to be the most difficult task EVER to teach two dogs where not to pee in their own back yard. Let's just pray today wasn't just my one lucky day!
